Well it has been a while, hasn't it? I continue to be "down on" affiliate marketing and don't think I will ever return to it. My love-hate relationship with Google continues; I love some of their features and hate others... Now to the good news: I have discovered something I did not know about until 5 days ago - RedGage.com http://www.redgage.com/DanvilleTrader/ More comments are bound to follow, because I have apparently made 30 cents already, posting only a few things and being quite NEW to the process. Google AdSense disabled my account this morning and I am through! Thank you again for taking a look at my blog/vlog postings.To summarize things learned recently: Record video in landscape mode to avoid looking like a rookie Speak clearly and more loudly for iPad to register audio better Have a script of what you want to communicate - don't wing it! Check functionality of YouTube video and monetize right away Have fun with the project Look straight at the camera whenever possible Minimize any "ahhh"s - make trial runs until you are comfortable Until a video goes viral it is unlikely that you will make any sizable amount of money, but if you are like me you will get excited about even small breaks. My "main video" has a little over 300 views and that apparently along with other factors allows for an estimated dollar of income. Money Online – Caveat Emptor

Take a look at someone else's effort writing about "Money Online - Caveat Emptor". Try to make your page easy to follow. Once you reach any post I would assume that you may want to look further by clicking HOME or BLOG or LINKS... But the main thing (unless you have a video or picture or something that'll attract attention) is to say something related to the topic you advertise. In my case I try to warn those new to online marketing to not spend their money freely before they know what they are getting. Too many companies charge $47 or $4.95 "to get to the next level" and to me it often represents wasted expenditure, mainly because you are unlikely to implement the game plan suggested or other reason. If you do spend money, look for something that will teach you skills and not MAKE YOU RICH...... Have you heard of or seen "Pearltrees" - I'm either too ADD or not ADD enough to understand the use for this organizing tool... (http://www.pearltrees.com/ ...but it is a good example how (dis)organized thinking can be of importance when you continue to post new items to the blog. Again, it is supposed to capture the mind of the visitor, a thought-stream would be nice but who can predict where people click next when there is a menu... (?) Tell me if you have an opinion here! I'd love to retrace the experience viewers have depending on which page/post they "arrive" at this site or the other ones that are connected throughout. Let the buyer beware! Caveat Emptor!! When you are looking at opportunities to earn money online you will quickly find lots of examples of people that want to make you rich quickly... Nominal fees can be high, medium or maybe only $47 for the everything package with all the bonuses. - right? Let me state that this is a general impression many get when they start, some get this feeling even after having tried "everything"... You get to maybe a Yin/Yan situation where you can see both sides, but let's face it: most people I know who have made it rich overnight will not want to share their map too readily! I wish you good luck on your journey, if you like someone's product or service and this comes at a fee - pay it, if you have the money, but don't spend your last cent(s) (sense?) - 'cause it might not work - get my drift? … [Read more...]

I feel it is Voodoo Magic that my pages rank as high and well with Google and Yahoo. Money Online - Caveat Emptor - 4 worlds I can even jumble and still be at the top... I believe that I am the only one using "Buyer Beware" and "Online Money" as four powerful words to attract those that I am trying to attract; namely those that already had bad experience(s) and paid for something that did not pan out, but cost quick a bit of money. Will now address Affiliate Marketing placement - what do I change? The advertisers? Maybe I'll just wait for a week or two to see how the reformat will help. I have accepted quite a few comments with people who gamble - I am not ashamed of carrying those individual(s) that leave positive or thought-provoking content and are not looking like they are machine made... Negative Thoughts – Online Money – Caveat Emptor

Why the title: "Negative Thoughts - Online Money - Caveat Emptor"? All is connected... Good SEO right from the start, namely choosing a niche, developing a domain name to suit that niche, keyword choices with each blog posting, and so on. I chose "Caveat Emptor" Latin for "Buyer Beware", which just is not mainstream enough to attract enough following and minimizes the probability that people will use it in searches a lot. The "Online Money" part is good, but I'm up against stiff competition and it's not really a niche. Lastly the name of "gimbut.org" is something I always wanted to have, but it will not be of great use to attract those that seek information on making money online... To make this work, it might be best to start from scratch building on the things I have now learned from my mistakes.
